Zubin Mehenti
Sports Producer/Reporter

Zubin Mehenti joined the News2 sports team in October 2005 after more than four years at WOI-TV in West Des Moines, Iowa. Prior to that, he was the weekend sportscaster at WMGM-TV in his home state of New Jersey, where he grew up with his parents and brother Neville.

Zubin got the TV bug while interning and working for WPIX, News2's sister station in New York City, where he had the chance to learn the ropes from the late Sean Kimerling.

Zubin says he loves covering the metro area's professional teams and collegiate programs but is always looking for a great sports story that usually occurs far from the bright lights of Invesco Field at Mile High, the Pepsi Center, and Coors Field.
