Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread With Chocolate Drizzle

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup canned pure pumpkin
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbls. evaporated milk
  • 2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp.baking soda
  • 1 tsp.baking powder
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350

Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda. Set aside

In large bowl cream together butter and sugar. Add pumpkin,egg and evaporated milk and beat on medium speed until well combined. Beat in cinnamon, allspice and vanilla. Add flour mixture to pumpkin mixture and beat until nice and smooth. Fold in 3/4 cup chocolate chips.

Pour into greased loaf pan and bake for 45-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely, gently run knife around edges of bread. Turn onto serving platter.

In microwaveable bowl slowly melt remaining chocolate chips in 30 second intervals until nice and melted. Drizzle chocolate over top of pumpkin bread, let set. Cut into slices and serve. ENJOY!
