While we work hard to keep up with everything going on in Colorado, our best stories come from viewers like you. When you have information that might make for an interesting story, we want to know. There are several ways you can be a NewsHawk.

If you see news happening, call the News2 hotline:

While we'd like your name and phone number so we can call you back (and we always keep those confidential), you can give us your tip anonymously.

News Happening Right Now:
If you want to let us know about a breaking news incident, call the News2 Hotline at (303) 221-NEWS2.

You can send an e-mail or a digital photograph taken at the scene of a news story by clicking here. When your e-mail program opens, add your photo as an attachment.

If you have a cell phone that doubles as a camera, be on the lookout for news happening and send us your pictures at that same address. The latest phones can even record video, and we are always interested in looking at video of breaking news scenes. We will give you credit on the air if you wish.

If you shot video with your camcorder, call the Assignment Desk at (303) 740-2855 and, if it sounds like something we can use on the air, we will set up a way to look at and make a copy of your tape.

Remember, news is perishable! If you have information, digital pictures or video, don't wait to get hold of us.
